Draft Management Plan (April 2008)

Here are focused excerpts of the Management Plan that point to topics related to MHR/Diving.  The entire DMP will give a more complete picture for the management vision of the sanctuary, but these elements will point you to the diving-specific sections:

  • MHR/Diving Section relating to Resource States (the condition of the shipwrecks)

  • MHR/Diving Section relating to Human Uses in the Sanctuary (who is diving in the Sanctuary/using these resources)

  • MHR/Diving Section Action Plan (this section details the actual management objectives)

  • MHR/Diving Appendix O (Prioritization and implementation; budgets)

  • CFRs - Regulations for the 1993 Management Plan (these are the only codified regulations pertaining to the sanctuary)
