To sign the petition you must enter the following information:

• Address
• City, State, Zip Code
• Email address
• Comment

These are required fields, needed in order to give the petition credibility and validity. Your contact information will be used for no other purposes and access to the database is controlled, with only an administrator able to view the entries.

When you sign the petition online, you will receive a confirmation request by email at the email address you entered. You must confirm your electronic signature by replying to this email or the entry will not be accepted. Additionally, your I.P. address will be logged in order to prevent multiple entries. You may only sign the petition once.

If you are a diver, please check the box indicating such. If you are not a diver, you may still sign the petition.

It is important that you enter a comment. The reason is that without comment, certain government agencies will not count your signature as a unique entry, thus diminishing the strength of the petition by counting all entries without comment as one entry. Please enter a comment such as “I disagree with NOAA’s proposed changes for the management of Stellwagen Bank.” It can be simple and brief.
